The History of Riddles
The history of riddles isn’t that simple. Is not limited to any single place or culture, but we founded riddles all over the world. There are riddles from Hungary, Persia, India, Africa, Philippines, Scandinavia, Mongolia, Russia and China. The people who solved riddles were mostly from Egypt and Greece.
Archeologists founded, that history of riddles and puzzles is more than thousands years old. In temples from Japan, Tibet and China, you can find many of reveal mathematical formulas. They were mainly used for a gaming, but they also led to the modern version of board games, for example chess.
